Accessibility Statement

Our standard

This statement covers the website of XONIK Technologies Pvt. Ltd. and its tools and downloads. The standard we build to is the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines, version 2.2, at level AA. It applies to every page template. The standard is checked against its success criteria one by one, and not against a general impression of how easy the site seems to use.

How we build and test

Pages are built from semantic HTML with one main heading, headings in order, and links that describe where they go. Text and controls are designed to meet the contrast and size the standard sets. We build every function to work from the keyboard, with a visible focus indicator, including the menus, the cookie notice, the forms and the tools. Images carry a text alternative or are marked as decoration. We test page templates with an automated tool, axe-core, and by walking through them with the keyboard.

Automated testing finds only part of the problems, and the keyboard walkthroughs cover the key journeys and not every page. For that reason this statement does not say the site conforms in full.

What we have not verified

We have not verified that every page conforms. If you find one that does not, tell us. Automated tests and keyboard walkthroughs cannot show how the site works for every person who uses assistive technology, and we do not claim that they do. The downloadable PDF files follow the same standard as far as the format allows, and may be harder to use than the web pages.

Other formats

Our research reports and white papers are published as web pages and as downloadable PDF files. If you need any of our content in another format, such as large print or plain text, write to us and say what you need. We will reply and tell you what we can provide and how, and we will not leave the request open.

If something does not work for you

Tell us which page, what you were trying to do, and what happened, and say what assistive technology you use if that helps. We will look at it, and if we cannot fix it at once we will tell you what we can do instead.
