Where your work stops.
We deliver AI and systems work under your name, or alongside you with both named. Which of the two applies is agreed in writing before anything starts — along with four boundaries we hold without exception.
We deliver AI and systems work for agencies and consultancies who need delivery capacity they do not have in-house — under your name, or alongside you with both named. Scope, credit and boundaries are agreed in writing before anything starts. Four things we will never do are stated below, without exception.
How it works
Two ways to work together.
Under your name
We deliver, you present it as your own work. Your client never hears XONIK mentioned. This suits an agency that has sold the outcome and needs the engineering behind it.
Alongside you
We deliver with both names on the work, credited jointly. This suits a firm that wants to be seen bringing in specialist AI capability rather than appearing to have built it alone.
Which of the two applies is agreed in the scoping call, in writing, before any work starts — not renegotiated once it is underway.
Who this suits
Five kinds of firm, one kind we are not for.
Agencies with a client asking for AI work
Work they do not have the engineering bench to deliver themselves.
Consultancies whose advisory work keeps surfacing a build
A build they are not resourced to do themselves.
Software firms needing a systems or integrations sprint
Delivered on a deadline they cannot resource internally.
Firms who have tried to hire for this
And found the market for it thin.
Not: firms looking for lead sharing
This is a delivery partnership, not a referral arrangement. We do not send clients to you and we do not expect you to send us clients in return — the relationship is about doing work together, not passing work sideways.
What each side brings
Two different contributions.
What XONIK brings
- Engineering delivery for the AI and systems work itself
- The evidence, reconciliation and documentation practice described across the Field Report
- A named, accountable delivery lead for the engagement
What you bring
- The client relationship and the commercial terms with them
- Domain and account context we would not have on our own
- The final decision on how the work is presented
What we will not do
Four things, without exception.
Contact your client directly
At any stage, without your explicit sign-off first.
Discuss commercial terms with your client
Pricing or scope changes stay a conversation with you, not them.
Use your client's name in our own marketing
Or in case studies, without written permission — ever.
Take public credit for under-your-name delivery
That arrangement holds after the work ends, not only during it.
How it starts
Four steps.
A scoping call
Thirty minutes on what needs delivering and which model — under your name or alongside you — actually fits.
Terms in writing
Scope, credit, pricing and the boundaries above, confirmed before either side starts work.
Delivery begins
Work runs against the same evidence and reconciliation discipline as everything else we build.
A named point of contact
One person on our side who answers for the engagement, for the length of it.
The work should look like it was always yours.
A partnership that requires explaining XONIK's involvement every time something goes well has already gone wrong.
The four things we will not do exist to keep it that way.
What we would be doing under your nameQuestions
Before we start.
Do you ever approach our client directly?
Not without your sign-off first, at any stage. That boundary is stated plainly above and it is not situational.
Can we present the work as entirely our own?
Yes, under the "under your name" model — that is exactly what it is for. XONIK is not mentioned to your client unless you choose to.
What if our client finds out XONIK is involved?
That should not happen under the under-your-name model unless you disclose it yourself. If it does, the boundary above still holds — we do not discuss terms with your client regardless of what they know.
How is pricing agreed?
Between us and you, in writing, before work starts — never with your client, and never renegotiated mid-engagement without both sides agreeing first.
What kind of work does this cover?
The same systems, integration and AI delivery work described on the services page — scoped to what your engagement actually needs, rather than a fixed package.
How do we get started?
Write to partners@xonik.com with what needs delivering. A scoping call is usually the same week.
