You may read this website, use its tools and download its resources for lawful purposes, and you may let search engines and AI assistants read it. You may not attack it, abuse its forms, or use our work to break the law. Security researchers should use the responsible disclosure page.
What this policy covers
This policy applies to anyone who uses the website of XONIK Technologies Pvt. Ltd., its assessments, calculators and downloads, and to clients who use what XONIK delivers. The terms of an engagement are in the Terms and Conditions and the statement of work. It also applies to anyone acting for you, such as a colleague or an automated tool that you run.
What you may do
You may browse the site, use the tools on it, and download the resources without giving an email address. You may link to any page. Automated tools that follow the rules in the site's robots file, including the crawlers of search engines and AI assistants that read pages to answer questions, may read the site at a reasonable rate. You may quote our published work with attribution, as the Copyright and Intellectual Property policy explains.
What you may not do
You may not use the site or our work to break the law, to infringe anyone's rights, or to deceive or harm other people. You may not try to gain access to the site's systems or data that you are not meant to reach, interfere with its operation, or test its security without our permission. You may not send the site automated or repeated submissions through its forms, use the forms to send material that is unlawful, abusive or unrelated to a genuine enquiry, or bypass the security check on them. You may not misrepresent our assessments or research as an audit, certification or endorsement by XONIK, or present our work as yours.
Reporting a security issue
If you find a weakness in the site, do not exploit it. Report it using the responsible disclosure page, which says how to do it and what we ask of you. A report made in good faith, within the limits that page sets, is welcome and will be read. Please keep the details to yourself until we have replied, so that others are not put at risk.
Using what XONIK delivers
A client must use what XONIK delivers lawfully, and remains responsible for how its own systems, including any AI it runs, are used and for the decisions it takes with them. We describe risks as we see them in the work, and the client decides what to do about them.
What we may do if this policy is broken
We may block access to the site from an address that abuses it, remove a submission, and report unlawful activity to the authorities. We act proportionately and keep a record of what we did and why. If you think we blocked an address by mistake, write to us and say what you were doing, and we will look again.
