Research, perspectives and briefings

Our reports, white papers and perspectives are practitioner analysis. They describe patterns and mechanisms that we have seen in the work and that public sources support, and each states its method and its limits. They are general in nature, they do not take account of your situation, and they are not professional advice of any kind. Take advice from a qualified professional before you act on anything in them.

A market intelligence briefing is accurate as of the date shown on it. Laws, rules and markets change, and a briefing is not updated until it is next reviewed, so check the date. Where we cite a law, a standard or a statistic, we link to the source, and the source prevails over our summary.

Tools and downloads

Each assessment and calculator applies published scoring rules to the answers you give. A result describes your answers against those rules. It is not an audit, a certification, a benchmark against other organizations or a prediction, and it is only as good as the answers entered. Templates and checklists are starting points that you adapt and are responsible for.
